Futuristic skyscrapers, unbeatable food and a vibrant nightlife - this is Tokyo

Walking tour of Tokyo. The Imperial Palace and Crab&Fish Market.

Once, women in luxurious kimonos strolled here, emperors philosophized beneath the autumn maples, and legendary samurai trained their bodies and spirits. Today, on the streets of ultra-modern and eccentric Tokyo, you can ask questions to a robot, be amazed by inventions at the digital technology museum, and get lost among cutting-edge designer boutiques.

The tour begins at 10:30 AM. The best way to start your acquaintance with the city is with an exterior view of the Imperial Palace. Reconstructed after the war, the complex has largely preserved its traditional architectural style. Surrounded by modern buildings, it stands as a symbol of the ancient and enduring traditions of imperial power in Japan. This harmony between the eternal and the contemporary will be a backdrop throughout your journey in the capital, allowing you to immerse yourself in the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun from the very first steps.

You will hear legends about the origin of the emperors, learn about rituals of accession, the unique system of imperial titles and names, and get acquainted with the current structure of the Japanese monarchy. Over two thousand matsu pines grow in the palace park — in Japan, they are a symbol of longevity. In autumn, these gardens are especially beautiful thanks to the vibrant maple foliage. Here you will visit the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, created back in 1603 — a perfect place for peaceful contemplation of autumn nature and harmony.

Next, we head to the Shibuya district — one of the liveliest and most dynamic in Tokyo. Here, you’ll find the famous observation deck Shibuya Sky, rising 229 meters above the ground. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, which looks especially enchanting in autumn with its colorful maple leaves. On clear days, you can even see the legendary Mount Fuji.

Shibuya Sky is more than just an observation deck — it’s a modern multimedia space where nature, architecture, and digital installations blend to create an unforgettable atmosphere. From this bird’s-eye view, you’ll see the legendary Shibuya Crossing — one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in the world, crossed by thousands of people every minute.

Shopping, TeamLab Planet Tokyo and Kabuki Theater

09:00 – Breathing practice with Marina Bernau on the rooftop overlooking the Japanese garden. Breakfast.

11:00 – optional excursion to the center of Tokyo (independently or in a group). To feel the current atmosphere of originality, we will go for a walk along one of the most expensive streets in the world – Ginza.

The area where the kimono trade once began has turned into a world of glittering shop windows, designer boutiques, pearl shops and the best restaurants. The symbol of Ginza is the building of the exclusive goods department store Wako in the Art Nouveau style. It is located on the famous Yon-Chome, a place as symbolic for every Japanese person as New York's Times Square is for an American.

Next, we'll visit TeamLab Planets Tokyo, an interactive digital art museum where artwork changes in real time and you can experience art with all your senses, including walking on water and interacting with adaptive installations. Tickets included.

At teamLab Planets, you'll enjoy four huge exhibition spaces and huge immersive artworks, each showcasing stunning digital art installations.

And today, we'll be visiting the Kabuki Theater! Located in the picturesque Ginza district of Tokyo, the Kabuki-zo Theater is a monument to traditional Japanese kabuki drama. Since opening in 1889, the theater has undergone numerous renovations and restorations, and has become a symbol of Japan's rich cultural heritage. Kabuki-zo is not only a place for exciting performances, but also an architectural marvel that harmoniously combines historical and modern elements. As a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage Site, Kabuki-zo continues to play a key role in preserving and promoting the ancient art of kabuki.

Moving to Hakone. Mount Fuji is a tourist mecca and a symbol of Japan, the same as the pyramids of Egypt, or, say, the fjords of Norway.ії.

You can get to know the nature, customs, traditions and cultural heritage of Japan better thanks to an excursion in Hakone to the foot of Mount Fuji. After breakfast, we put our suitcases in the car, and we set off for what is probably the most famous national natural park in the country. It is spread among several mountain peaks covered with forests next to the crater of an extinct volcano. Beautiful valleys, gorges and hollows, as well as bizarre mountain outlines - one of the best places to admire such a landmark of Japan as Mount Fuji. In any season, it is a unique sight, but during the cherry blossom season, the mountain is especially beautiful! Seeing this beauty with your own eyes, you understand why it is a symbol of the country for the Japanese! Another landmark of Hakone-Fuji Park is the Owakudani Valley - formed in the caldera of an ancient volcano as a result of a relatively recent, about 3 thousand years ago, steam eruption of Mount Kami. Boiling springs, hot streams, steam erupting from the ground and a sulfurous smell - this is a brief description of the valley. Together with the bare rocks around, it creates an absolutely exotic impression. It seems that only the magnificent view of Fuji convinces that we are in Japan, and not among hellish cauldrons and frying pans. Life in the valley is quite ordinary - a funicular continuously delivers tourists who walk in groups among boiling water and clouds of steam, and a sulfur extraction and processing plant operates on the slope. By the way, so that the sulfur in the springs does not boil in vain, the locals learned to boil chicken eggs in it. It is not known when they did this for the first time, but the result is stunning: the shell becomes bluish-black. Eating such an egg is both a ritual for good luck and an attraction. It is believed that every egg eaten in Owakudani adds at least seven years of life! Thanks to continuous volcanic activity in the Hakone area, there are many underground hot springs that feed an immeasurable number of "onsen" - hot baths in the open air. Where we will stay for 1 night.

Since ancient times, they have been popular with monks, courtiers, samurai and ordinary travelers. After the end of the excursion, accommodation in a 4* hotel.

*We leave Tokyo by minibus with suitcases and in the evening after the excursion we will arrive at our hotel in Hakone, where we will relax with you in a real Japanese bath.

Tea ceremony in a kimono! A tour of the "Temple of 10 Thousand Gates" is a place for deep reflection on the beauty of all things, and its main mystery is that it has an absolutely hypnotic effect on a person.

10:30 -12:30 An unforgettable tea ceremony in kimono awaits us! However, the main highlight of today will be a visit to the Fushimi Inari Taisho Shrine. It is believed that it was built in 711. On its territory is the famous tunnel of a thousand torii with red gates. They were brought here by people who came to the shrine to pray for success in business.

Now there are about 10 thousand of them here! The deity of the shrine is considered to be the famous God of prosperity and a rich harvest. It is believed that he grants success in business, safety on the roads and luck in the arts. Belief in him has been strong since ancient times, and foxes are considered his messengers on earth.

Day 7
Koyasan – the spiritual heart of Japan

Transfer from Kyoto to Koyasan by our private minibus. Located at an altitude of over 800 meters amidst cedar forests, Koyasan is home to more than 100 Buddhist monasteries. Here, we will have the opportunity to:

  • Take a peaceful walk among majestic trees and admire the red maples in a deeply meditative atmosphere;

  • Visit Okunoin, a mystical cemetery surrounded by 500-year-old trees;

  • Learn about the daily life of monks and the traditions of Japanese Buddhism;

  • Stay overnight in a monastery with a traditional shōjin-ryōri (vegetarian) dinner and attend the morning prayer.

Accommodation will be in one of the oldest traditional monasteries of Koyasan. Please note: monastery rooms do not have private bathrooms — facilities are shared with other guests.

However, this unique experience offers a rare opportunity to truly immerse yourself in the monastic lifestyle of Japan: to wake up to the sound of the gong, join the morning prayer, and taste authentic vegetarian temple cuisine — something you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

And for such deep cultural immersion, it is well worth setting aside modern comforts for just one night.

NARA. We will be able to see thousands of animals walking among the trees and ancient temples - a common sight in a fairy-tale city

10:00 our minibus picks us up for a transfer to Osaka with a visit to the magical city of temples and deer Nara. Nara is one of the most interesting cities in Japan, where Shintoism - the traditional religion of the Japanese - and Buddhism, which became the state religion in the 8th century, intertwined, just during the heyday of the ancient capital.

Pilgrims once flocked here to pray to the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu, and the divine protector of the Japanese state, according to legend, appeared here on a white deer. is a symbol of harmony, renunciation and lack of fear. Officially, these animals are the property of Japan and are protected by the state. Of course, you can’t hunt them, moreover, you shouldn’t disturb a deer, even if it’s sleeping in the middle of the road. During a walk in the park, you will have the opportunity to feed the deer with specially designed, useful and nutritious livers. You don't need to look for them, they will find you! There is a famous shrine in the city - Kasuga Taisho Temple. Four Gods are worshipped here: the God of Thunder and Lightning, the God of the Sword, the God of Ame-no Koyane-no Mikoto and the Goddess of Peace and Love. And it is in Nara that the oldest Buddhist temple, Todai-ji, is located. It is known as the largest wooden building in the world! In addition, within its walls is a huge bronze statue of Buddha, which was cast over a thousand years ago!

Upon arrival in Osaka, accommodation in a 5* hotel.
